Horror Promo – Clarence the Clairvoyant vs. The Man-Eater

Greetings travelers, and welcome to another stop in the Otherworld.  While we spent some time in familiar territory yesterday, we’re going to travel to another place in our world, where things are, well…just a little strange.  But if you’re looking for a good time and some laughs, you’ll want to learn more about Clarence the Clairvoyant vs. The Man-Eater.

Right from the first pages, you can tell that this book was made with a ton of passion.  M.R. Black releases his debut story, Clarence the Clairvoyant vs. The Man-Eater, and plays with the material as if it was his favorite toy.  You can tell that Black has a lot of love for the story he tells, and he just has a wonderful time spinning the yarn.  It doesn’t hurt that it’s delectably funny, and wildly irreverent.  The author achieves this mostly by throwing a cast of characters on the pages that simply pop, and they’ve all got larger than life personalities and presentation.  At first glance, you would be hard-pressed to believe this was a horror, but Black makes it work.

In “Clarence the Clairvoyant vs. The Man-Eater,” readers will be taken on a thrilling ride with the cursed private investigator Clarence Felix and his tough-as-nails assistant Melissa. After a mishap in his youth, Clarence can only see the worst parts of anything he touches. He’s also haunted by the ghost of a cow he accidentally killed. Despite his challenges, he’s determined to make it as a private investigator, but things take a deadly turn when they’re hired to investigate the small town of Coldhand, where people are disappearing at an alarming rate. They soon find themselves being stalked by a terrifying wendigo, known as the Man-Eater, and hunted by the local mob. With their lives on the line, Clarence and Melissa must use their wits, their courage, and Clarence’s cursed powers to survive. Will they make it out alive? Or will the Man-Eater finally get it’s meal? Find out in this heart-stopping adventure.

There are more than a few interesting parts that make Clarence the Clairvoyant stand out, and it’s those things that urge readers on.  There’s always something that is discovered that lead readers to the next insane reveal, and on and on it goes.  But before long, the last page turns, and fans will be yearning for more.  The world needs more Clarence Felix (and friends), and if we’re lucky, Black will already be convinced that he should work on more delightful stories.  For now, there’s no better time than the present to dive into his book.  Check out Clarence the Clairvoyant vs. The Man-Eater by M. R. Black on Amazon today!
