Tatiana is a kind of unique character for Tellest. She didn’t exist before one of my backers said, “hey, make this character exist.” So we took on the challenge, and set to work on making her a real character who fit into the world of Tellest in a very meaningful way.
By now, most everybody who comes here knows that our universe is a juxtaposition of medieval fantasy and superheroes. With Tatiana, we wanted to explore something a little more magical in nature. In the finished artwork, you’ll see that she has her hand up to her head. That’s because she’s got a telepathic link with one of her allies. I’m not going to go into too many details about that just yet, but suffice it to say, you’ll see that character’s artwork in the next couple of weeks or months.

This isn’t “bossy”, it’s “assertive.”
It’s going to be really interesting bringing Tatiana to life in the book series. The fun part is going to be figuring out how!
