Anime Style Art – Narallyndra

Greetings travelers, and welcome to another art post from the world of Tellest.  It’s been a little while since we’ve seen one of the great pieces that Netamix has done for us, but that finally changes today, as we’re taking a quick peek at a character who we’ve seen art on before, but never in an awesome anime style.

As always, right off the bat, you can see that Netamix’s style is very reminiscent of Yoshitaka Amano, the artist who worked on a lot of Final Fantasy’s designs.  It always feels as though these character pieces could very well be the front cover of a manga or a graphic novel.

One of the things that we wanted to do with Narallyndra was show off her control of wind magic.  While she’s not trained in just one school of magic, wind magic is the one that she’s most known for, summoning more than one twister in her time in the Tellest universe.

With a splash of color, Narallyndra pops even more.  The watercolor look here carries another otherworldly feel, making this child of the forest look even more astounding.  Bonus points for things like the bejeweled items on the staff floating up in the air as the elven maiden channels her magic!

That was just a quick one for today, but we’ve got more anime-style art on the distant horizon.  Thank you very much to Netamix for this lovely look at Narallyndra!
