Welcome travelers. We’re back looking at one of the cities of Tellest, and to their sigil.
We don’t know too much about the two-island continent of Mistfall just yet—aside from the two cities of the Black Lantern and Radzryn—but those are both cities on the eastern island, whereas the western island hasn’t had any love yet. Enter Glisgin, which probably gives that section of the continent love they’d rather not want. That’s because this gremlin city is known first and foremost because of how dangerous they are, and how crazy some of their inhabitants seem to be. That’s why their sigil is a wonderful match to them indeed.
Glisgin sits in the eastern mountains of Mistfall’s western island, and they’re known for their powers of destruction. While dwarves and gnomes are known to be a bit more precise about their methods of creating mines and long stretches of tunnels, the gremlins of Glisgin are willing to make some incredibly dangerous decisions in order to carve out their mountains. This could even be a situation where the gremlins are willing to risk their lives a bit more than they should. Of course, this carnage doesn’t come without damage to the rest of their belongings. Anywhere that the sigil might have existed in the mountains, there’s a chance that the earthen walls will have been damaged. Just another excuse to put more sigils together in the tunnels that have been blasted apart.
One other thing to know about the gremlins of Glisgin: they’re not quite as in your face as you’d want someone with their penchant for explosive violence to be. While you’d likely rather have them as far from you as possible, the fact that they’re sneaky can be a tough thing to deal with indeed. At least if you saw their sigil coming, you could prepare for it. For that reason, they don’t often have banners with the flaming mug upon it. They do like to put a fake flag on top of the Glisgin flag on their boats on the nearby lake, but that’s because at the last moment, they’ll pull down the other one, revealing the fates of everyone nearby on the water.
We mentioned earlier that the painted version of the sigil is likely to find tis way into the tunnels in the nearby mountains. That’s likely to happen a lot, but with variations of the sigil. Creating things is probably very secondary to destroying things for the gremlins of Glisgin, after all!
As always, we leave you with one final picture: the phone background. I hope you enjoy it!
That wraps us up for the Glisgin sigil, but we’ll be back in another three weeks with another sigil for you to check out. Thanks for stopping by!
