Science Fiction Promo – Little Blue

Greetings, travelers!  We’ve got a second science fiction story for the week that we’re excited to show off to you.  This latest trip into the Otherworld has some deeper messages, but it’s presented in a veneer that is as entertaining as it is purposeful.  If you’re looking for a story that transcends life of every color (and perhaps beyond) then read on to learn more about Little Blue.

Author Kristen Schmitt meets and overcomes a tremendous challenge on her hands with Little Blue, her epic science fiction-slash-fantasy hybrid story.  That’s because the call of the story is to blend a myriad of genres, balancing environmental messages with those of self-worth and love of many kinds, and to keep things fun despite the heavy weight that something like that might carry.  Schmitt shows, across five hundred pages, that she is uniquely suited for the task, creating a tapestry of magic and science that is breathtaking and captivating.  It’s targeted at young adults, but readers of all ages will likely enjoy it, the messages it carries, and the way that the author brings it to life.

Have you ever looked up into the night sky and wondered if there was life beyond our stars?

Little Blue is a sci-fi, fantasy, and metaphysical story about an “old soul” of a teenage human and one 20-something Collective Student from a far-away planet, chosen to come to study Earth and its inhabitants.

It’s a journey that spans the globe and reaches beyond the cosmos, offering unique perspectives and suggesting that humans and aliens may not be as different as we think.

Set in current times, Little Blue engages with various scenarios, from spiritual insights to climate consciousness, telling magical stories across several genres, from sci-fi and fantasy to metaphysics and historical fiction, geography, and LGBTQ+.

Here is what people are saying about Little Blue:
Little Blue is a supernatural rollercoaster ride with not-so-subliminal messages on how humans can be better versions of ourselves.” M.P.
I felt like I was reading a Harry Potter novel. The author crafted so many creative and original characters. I had a hard time putting the pages down.” L.D.
Knowing Kristen and her metaphysical talents, Little Blue offers many great spiritual narratives.” H.T.

Although Little Blue is for Young Adult readers and up, some of the content crosses religious and philosophical barriers; please use discretion for readers under the age of 18.

Little Blue is available in paperback and as an ebook. For more information on Little Blue and its author, visit www.littleblueink.com.

Empathetic hearts and minds will no doubt be drawn to Little Blue, because it is fundamentally a story about sharing the goodness that we can find in people if we look at them openly.  Schmitt’s story celebrates diversity, the potential of human (and alien) achievement, and the value in caring about the places we share with one another.  The book is framed through the experiences of a delightful cast of characters, veiled in metaphysical messages that give off great vibes, and prose that immerses readers.  If you’re interested in getting hooked on a story that will wrap you in a warm embrace until you reach the final page, don’t wait.  Check out Little Blue, by Kristen Schmitt, on Amazon today!
