A couple of years ago, I began working on a new novel on my train rides into work. It was one of two stories that I stopped because I just didn’t know enough about what was going on, but it was important for me to continue to evolve the thought, and the story around it.
Well, with help from Azot, one of our long lost collaborators (and a survivor of everything that’s going on in Ukraine right now), we were able to do just that. What you’re seeing here are the floating islands of Aeratul.
Now, we’ve explored floating islands in the Tellest universe before, but none of them have been so broken up as this flying archipelago. While we have a long way to go still before we tell the stories that take place around Aeratul, I wanted you to see the artwork.
We did one other collaboration with Azot that I’m excited to show off, so be on the lookout for that in the weeks to come. See you soon!
