Greetings, travelers! We’re back again today to look at one of the contestants from TowerSphere, and we opted to go for something a little more vague today. Generally speaking, we’ve had some placements in the name for our previous combatants, but today we’re looking at someone who could really come from anywhere in Tellest.
We’re looking at the stoic shieldmaiden, a powerful woman who looks as though she comes from somewhere with a cold climate. Though we don’t have a name attributed to her, I envision her as coming from Gandarst, the scattered kingdoms to the west of the Dragonsbane Mountains on Draconis. Below, you can see a rough sketch of the character, but even at that point, you can see that Sergei is doing an awesome job of bringing her to life.
Once we moved from sketch to our work in progress, you can see a lot more details begin to take shape. Sergei took the concept and dialed it up to eleven. We’re talking about a character model here who honestly looks like she could grace the front page of a book. And to top it off, she’s the kind of hero that could find herself playing an important part even outside of a TowerSphere match.
Here is our final look at the stoic shieldmaiden. With a dash of color, she comes to life even more, and really pops off the screen. Sergei did a wonderful job with this, and we could not be happier with how it turned out. Just as with several of his other TowerSphere contestants, I could very easily see her jumping from someone with a hidden identify to getting the call to join the higher ranks!
