Greetings travelers, and welcome to another one of our art features! Today we’re going to be taking a quick look at one of our fan favorite characters done up in one of our very talented artists’ style.
Holklund Crescentshire has definitely earned his place as a favorite among our fans, thanks in part to his powers—the ability to see through another person’s eyes—as well as a fairly interesting weapon. Sepulcher’s Claw is a vampiric weapon that seems relatively unremarkable, and even that it would not do much damage in a fight. It is, after all, made of wood. But looks can be deceiving.
Holklund already wears a lot of dark clothing, so what we have here doesn’t quite tell too much of a story, but it’s still cool to see some shading added to the character. You can see even better than in the sketch that the cloak is kind of peculiar, and you can better see here that the character has the haunting eyes that he’s known for.
Silky Noire manages to capture such nuance in her look at Holklund, nailing down the wooden dao that is indestructible and deadly, the rest of the thief’s attire, and of course, his milky-white gaze, indicating that he is currently viewing the world through someone else’s vision.
That’ll wrap us up for today, but we’ve got more coming next week. Back in the swing of things! See you then!
