What we’ve seen so far, regarding art, has been very practical. \u00a0We’ve seen characters that readers have been introduced to, seen a map of the experienced lands of Tellest, and seen the covers for the stories that I’ve released thus far.<\/p>\n
Paul Davies is a jack of all trades, and one of the things he does very well is concept art. \u00a0I knew that I wanted someone who was going to be able to tackle something of that nature early on, since Tellest is pretty unique in the way that it presents certain tried and true archetypes. \u00a0One such fantasy mainstay is the orc. \u00a0Paul and I collaborated on a way to make the classic race seem more human and noble in appearance. \u00a0We worked at giving the typically evil characters a more compassionate feeling. \u00a0Here’s what we came up with:<\/p>\n
