Last month, we had our first official winner in the writing prompt contest. \u00a0We&#8217;re still trying to find a sweet spot for ongoing glory, but for this next month&#8217;s winner, we&#8217;re going to be offering $10 awarded via PayPal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For Tellest\u2019s writing prompt this month, we wanted to see what you could come up with when one of the characters you&#8217;re writing isn&#8217;t necessarily alive.\u00a0<strong>In 1500 words or less, write a story for Tellest that focuses on a particular object. \u00a0It can be anything from sentimental to sentient, or completely mundane.<\/strong>\u00a0 As always, please express your creativity. \u00a0Good luck to everyone!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Official Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>One Winner will be chosen on the 15th of the month following the start of the contest.<\/li>\n<li>By submitting your prompt, you agree that, if selected as the monthly winner,\u00a0<em><strong>and<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>you are using any established characters, locations or items from the Tellest series, you will be willing to sign an agreement to keep your work exclusive to Tellest and Tellest.com where failure to agree will exclude you from the monthly prize.<\/li>\n<li>Prize is $10 payable through PayPal. \u00a0Also includes a featured spot on the Tellest website for at least a month following the close of the monthly contest.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greetings to all of our fantasy writers out there!
