Hey folks!\u00a0 Every now and then, we get to try our hands with a new artist.\u00a0 Today, we’re showing you one of the new, talented people we commissioned, Whails, from DeviantArt.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We like to give our new artists a familiar piece to work with first so that they’re not coming into the Tellest universe blind.\u00a0 In the case of Whails, we gave her one of our more popular heroes, Adelia Kreegan.\u00a0 We leaned a bit on the ice magic for this piece, and did some things with her that no one else had.<\/p>\n

We experimented with a couple of different things, including wings and a crown.\u00a0 This shows more details, but we changed a lot for the final piece.<\/p>\n

Here we have Adelia in all her glory, looking almost like a fairy with those cool ice wings.\u00a0 We haven’t had her do anything like that in the books she features in yet, but perhaps the newest Ancestral Magic book that’s coming out next will lean more on ideas like this.\u00a0 Thanks to Whails for bringing our character to life in a cool new way!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
