{"id":6650,"date":"2018-09-19T06:49:58","date_gmt":"2018-09-19T10:49:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tellest.com\/?p=6650"},"modified":"2018-06-25T11:44:35","modified_gmt":"2018-06-25T15:44:35","slug":"concept-art-ruins-daventry-manor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tellest.com\/concept-art-ruins-daventry-manor\/","title":{"rendered":"Concept Art &#8211; The Ruins of Daventry Manor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Howdy folks.\u00a0 A few weeks ago we showed you a weird, awesome new look at a locale in Tellest.\u00a0 Today, Azot brings his A-game again, this time showing off something a little more down to earth.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s get right to it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6651\" src=\"http:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-3.jpg 4800w, https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-3-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-3-1024x512.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We start off with a black and white version of the piece.\u00a0 When Azot signed up to do these concept pieces, we didn&#8217;t know anything about them other than a few keywords.\u00a0 So when he showed this to us, I was immediately thinking of some of the opening scenes of Breath of the Wild.\u00a0 It took some thinking to figure out where this could be in the greater Tellest universe, but we found things out soon enough.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6652\" src=\"http:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-4.jpg 4800w, https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-4-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-4-1024x512.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Daventry Manor was a huge chateau in Lustra.\u00a0 Pieces of it remain, but it&#8217;s not exactly habitable anymore.\u00a0 Lord Daventry and a neighboring noble were involved in trade wars for a handful of items that they could sell from their lands, such as wine, ore and timber.\u00a0 Daventry was undercut at every turn, and eventually went mad trying to make up for it.\u00a0 In time, his home fell to ruin.\u00a0 Some say he still roams the battered walls that surround the courtyard.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6653\" src=\"http:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-5.jpg 4800w, https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-5-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Ruins-5-1024x512.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Azot did a tremendous job with this piece.\u00a0 I can&#8217;t say enough how impressed I was with it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Howdy folks.\u00a0 A few weeks ago we showed you a weird, awesome new look at a locale in Tellest.\u00a0 Today, Azot brings his A-game again, this time showing off something a little more down to earth.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s get right to it.
