Biography<\/b><\/p>\n

General<\/b><\/p>\n

Mathias is the king of the gods.\u00a0 He rules over Tellest from his temple in Golernus, and is the father of many of the other gods, including Nerot<\/a>, Ariyas<\/a>, Hudorian<\/a> and Animus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Many say that the god king was so disappointed in his children that he disappeared from the world for thousands of years.\u00a0 After the humans<\/a> rose up from the depths and walked upon the surface once more, Mathias reappeared in an effort to guide his lost children back into prosperity.<\/p>\n

With Tellest\u2019s lands so greatly in the favor of the elves<\/a> and the dwarves<\/a>, Mathias created the other major races, like the orcs<\/a>, the minotaurs<\/a> and the kobolds<\/a>.\u00a0 Knowing that they would be adverse to working together, he gave them common foes in the goblins, gnolls and lagano.<\/p>\n

Over time Mathias is said to have taken consorts with various mortals upon the face of Tellest.\u00a0 It is unknown whether or not he has sired anyone with these companions.<\/p>\n

Ability<\/b><\/p>\n

Mathias has a great many abilities.\u00a0 He is known foremost to be able to change his size and appearance, as well as his voice.\u00a0 Those who have claimed to see him have also spoke of countless other powers that the king of the gods is capable of.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
