It has been a little while since we’ve had a mainline Tellest story release.\u00a0 And while we’ve been working on the newest story, we determined that it wasn’t quite what we wanted to do, so we’re switching gears, and starting with a new story from scratch.<\/p>\n
It all starts when a gnomish tinker’s apprentice ends up realizing that she forgot some of her tools in the workshop that he works at.\u00a0 The city that she lives at is in a part of the world of Tellest where a phenomenon plunges it into darkness for an extended period of a time once per year, and during that time, monsters tend to show up more often.\u00a0 As a measure of precaution, everyone from the city moves away from the city when the darkness comes, though it has been a few years since any monsters have appeared.<\/p>\n
Binna, our tinker’s apprentice, decides to take a risk and heads back to the city, and back to the workshop in order to get her tools, so that she doesn’t go without them for so long a time.\u00a0 But in the time that she is back at her place of business, she realizes that it isn’t monsters that she has to worry about.\u00a0 Bandits have decided that it is the best time to ransack the city, and they target the workshop as well.<\/p>\n
Not one to just give up and let her place of business be stripped for parts, Binna uses her cleverness as her weapon, and starts to create all sorts of boobytraps to thwart the interloper.<\/p>\n
