Lumibugs look like fireflies, except their abdomens do not glow in a specific color.\u00a0 Lumibugs are said to change their blinking color based on their mood.\u00a0 Therefore, when threatened, content, scared, calm, and mating, they all display different colors and shades.<\/p>\n

Where Found<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lumibugs are generally found in warm weather climates, during the day.\u00a0 For a brief while during sunset, they are also active, which is when they are most noticeable.<\/p>\n

When it is time for a lumibug to pass on naturally, it is said that they fly high into the sky, where they become one with the stars.<\/p>\n

Whenever a shooting star is seen, it supposedly is dropping off the larva of adult lumibugs.<\/p>\n
