This is the first blog that I think I’m writing straight on the website. \u00a0It’s a little different, but I’ll get used to it.<\/p>\n
We’re introducing a new feature today on Tellest.com – Fact Fridays. \u00a0Our literary universe is absolutely massive. \u00a0There are 13 continents on Tellest, and 69 countries (that I know of – I reserve the right to retcon whenever it’s convenient and makes for a good story). \u00a0The first book in the Child of the Stars Trilogy takes place in the year 980. \u00a0That’s a whole hell of a lot of world background that’s wide open.<\/p>\n
Fact Friday is going to be a way for me to bring more of the world to our readership. \u00a0Every week, we’re going to post at least one Tellest encyclopedia entry. \u00a0It might be about a specific race, or a specific person. \u00a0It might be about a continent, a country or even a city. \u00a0It could be a short entry about the wildlife on Tellest, like lumibugs or pearlfish. \u00a0It could be an even shorter entry, about the gods of Tellest. \u00a0Whatever the case, you can be sure we’ve got plenty of things lined up for many, many weeks to come.<\/p>\n
On the storyline front, I’m happy to announce that the Adelia story is about 98% done, before editing. \u00a0I’m also plugging away at the Bolt story, at a pace of roughly a page a day. \u00a0I have never been this excited about writing, but I’m also very happy to share these smaller stories going forward.<\/p>\n
It’ll be a nice short blog today so that I can focus on finishing up those tales of Tellest and get the encyclopedia entry posted. \u00a0In the meantime, thanks for visiting, as always!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
