Howdy!\u00a0 I’m back once again to show off some cool Tellest artifact artwork, and today we’re looking at yet another one that I haven’t featured in any stories yet.\u00a0 That said, there may be another project these are going to end up in.<\/p>\n
First up, we’ll look at the artwork for the Mirror of Despair that we\u00a0passed<\/em> on.\u00a0 Azot always does an excellent job for Tellest, but sometimes we need to tweak some things about the artwork.\u00a0 In this case, we got something awesome, but it just didn’t fit what we were going for.\u00a0 The mirror of despair is more of a handheld object, and you can see we’ve got a skeleton taking a bath in it down there!\u00a0 I loved the Mayan \/ Aztec inspiration, but we did think the little limbs looked a little too… uncomfortable.<\/p>\n Below, you can see the changes we ended up making to it.\u00a0 Here, it was more of a hand mirror, though the influences changed to something looking a bit more eldritch.\u00a0 We haven’t really explored that in Tellest, but that’s not to say they don’t exist, and I guess with Azot’s choices, there’s at least something going on there!<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/4-Mirror-of-Despair.jpg\")
