{"id":23798,"date":"2020-12-23T06:30:36","date_gmt":"2020-12-23T11:30:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tellest.com\/?p=23798"},"modified":"2020-12-25T11:56:44","modified_gmt":"2020-12-25T16:56:44","slug":"fantasy-promo-call-me-dragon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tellest.com\/fantasy-promo-call-me-dragon\/","title":{"rendered":"Fantasy Promo &#8211; Call Me Dragon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Howdy folks.\u00a0 This is going to be the last Otherworld stop we have before Christmas, but we&#8217;re going out with a bang!\u00a0 We always love to see old friends, and today we&#8217;re reconnecting with one who has done an insane amount of work for themselves since we last saw them.\u00a0 We could talk about the incredible catalog (and will), but we&#8217;ll let this latest work do the talking for it first.\u00a0 This is <em>Call Me Dragon<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Marc Secchia is a tried and true fantasy scholar.\u00a0 Across his many books, he has honed his considerable talents, and that&#8217;s put on full display in his latest, <em>Call Me Dragon<\/em>, which is as wonderfully written as it is quirky and humorous.\u00a0 Make no mistake, this novel is a spectacular fantasy, but Secchia seamlessly adds layers of wit upon it that makes it stand out as more than just another tale of a bloodthirsty dragon tyrant.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"smarturl.it\/callmedragon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23806 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Call-Me-Dragon-Sized.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" height=\"660\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Call-Me-Dragon-Sized.jpg 440w, https:\/\/tellest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Call-Me-Dragon-Sized-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Blitz the Devastator has never done a decent day\u2019s devastating in his life. Fireless, artistic and shunned by his Dragon Clan, he struggles to pillage even the meanest village. A future full of misery and failure beckons.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This much is true until the day the burly brown Dragon successfully \u2013 imagine that \u2013 kidnaps the Princess Azania. As a black Princess of T\u2019nagru, this spirited beauty is by definition the most unforgettable woman in the seventeen realms. Knights errant, men-at-arms and sundry Princes expire at her feet in drivelling worship.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Unfortunately, they all want his scaly head on a platter shortly thereafter. Goes with the territory.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>To Blitz\u2019s consternation, the royal nuisance refuses to behave herself and be a typical pampered Princess. With humour, unconventional flair and the odd stomp of her diminutive slipper, she sets out to reform her Dragon.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>One question remains.
